1. Timing is crucial: Schedule the photo shoot ideally within the first 14 days of life, when the baby is most sleepy and flexible. We realise that for some reasons this may not be possible and we will work to get the beautiful pictures you desire.

2. Create a soothing atmosphere: We always ensure the studio is warm, quiet, and comfortable for the baby. Parents therefore may wish to wear something lighter or if you wish, bring a change of clothes for Parent Photos.

3. Keep it simple: During our initial consultation we will discuss if you want to use minimal props and focus on the baby's natural beauty. Or if you would like to make use of our abundance of props, outfits, materials and colours.

4. Be patient: Newborn photography requires flexibility, time and patience, as the baby's needs and mood can change quickly. The entire session is baby led and can take between 2-4hrs plus. Feel free to relax, nap, eat or catch up on your favourite TV shows during this time.

5. Safety first: We aways prioritise the baby's safety and comfort during the photo shoot. Should baby show signs of discomfort/unwell we can stop the shoot and pick it back up a few days later.

2. Be prepared: Bring necessary items, such as nappies, dummies, and extra milk, to the photo shoot. However, we do carry a stock of everything except Milk.
